Adasoft is expanding its U.S. team and is looking for a Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation to develop new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and support the growth of our automation solutions in the U.S. market.
This role is ideal for a professional who combines technical knowledge, commercial skills, and a customer-focused approach to understand customer needs and deliver effective automation solutions.
- Headquarters: Plantation, Florida with Remote flexibility.
- Willingness to travel across the U.S. (40–60%).
What You'll Do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential customers and key stakeholders.
- Understand customer requirements and support the definition of technical solutions.
- Manage sales opportunities from initial contact to proposal and project award.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals with the support of our engineering teams.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and follow-up activities.
- Participate in industry events, promotional activities, and customer visits.
- Collaborate with international teams to deliver successful projects.
What We're Looking For
- Degree or technical education in Engineering, Industrial Automation, Business, Marketing, Sales, or related fields.
- 3 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Technical Sales, Sales Engineering, Business Development, or Industrial Marketing.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial control systems is highly valued.
- Experience supporting technical proposals, customer interactions, and commercial activities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling industrial projects or automation solutions.
- Background in manufacturing, Pharma, Food & Beverage, Chemical, or other industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, ABB, Beckhoff, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Industry 4.0, MES, IIoT, or Smart Manufacturing.
