In this temporary position on our Packaging team, you’ll contribute directly to how essential medicines are packaged and delivered around the world.

Role Overview

As a temporary Packaging Technician reporting to the Packaging Supervisor, you’ll perform solid oral dose bottle packaging activities and keep our lines running safely, efficiently, and in compliance with cGMP.

A Day in the Life

• Begin with routine quality and compliance checks to ensure cGMP standards are upheld on assigned equipment.
• Set the slat pattern and run the bottle filling machine at required speeds to meet output goals.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble the Slat Filler to maintain line readiness.
• Load and operate the MGS Topserter efficiently at target rates.
• Change labels and operate the Labeler to keep production on spec and on schedule.
• Alert the Line Leader and Mechanics promptly to any equipment issues to sustain peak line performance.
• Complete all SOP trainings in Master Control and keep certifications current.
• Pack and scan finished product to meet serialization regulations and traceability requirements.
• Collaborate with teammates, support departmental goals, and jump in on other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED (minimum) and at least 1 year of related experience and/or training; level of role will depend on your experience and skill set.
• Comfortable reading and writing work instructions and records.
• Ability to perform basic math (counts, measures, line speeds, and documentation).
• Practical judgment to follow special instructions across different packaging applications.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking for most of the shift; frequent handling of components and supplies.
• Ability to pick up and carry items up to 25 pounds at times.

Preferred Proficiencies

• Material handling in a production setting.
• Hands-on packaging line experience.
• Machine setup and changeovers for production runs.
• Shop math skills.
