What You'll Do As An Apartment Porter
- We're looking for an experienced Apartment Porter who thrives in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment. In this role, you will:
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including hallways, lobbies, breezeways, and recreational spaces
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces
- Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash from designated areas throughout the community
- Keep outdoor areas clean by picking up litter, blowing debris, watering plants, and maintaining walkways
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing bulbs, replacing air filters, and reporting needed repairs
- Support residents by offering courteous assistance when needed (e.g., package or furniture help)
- Monitor the community for safety hazards, maintenance needs, or security concerns and report promptly
- Follow all company policies and safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance and office teams to support daily operations
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to lift and carry items as needed for cleaning and grounds tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous porter, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience is a plus
- Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
