What You'll Do As An Apartment Lead Maintenance Technician
We're seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician who is hands-on, technically skilled, and ready to lead a service team at a high-volume community. In this role, you will:
- Lead, train, and guide maintenance staff throughout daily operations
- Complete and oversee service requests to ensure timely, high-quality results
- Coordinate and assist with make-readies, upgrades, and maintenance schedules
- Ensure all work orders and unit turns are completed efficiently and accurately
- Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
- Maintain organized inventory and ensure proper use of tools/equipment
- Support the Property Manager with various maintenance projects and initiatives
- Uphold community standards for safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction
To be successful in this role, you MUST have:
- Minimum 3 Years Previous Experience as a Lead Maintenance Technician in multifamily housing (including team supervision)
- Valid HVAC Certification REQUIRED
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
- Stable work history
- A personal set of basic hand tools
- Proven ability to coach, train, and lead service technicians
- Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
