Adaptive Star Mobility Inc., manufactures mobility equipment for people with special needs. We are looking for a proactive, motivated, and coachable individual who is interested in getting their foot in the door as our Office/Administrative Assistant.
Job Description:
You will be the first point of contact for existing and potential clients through email and over the phone. To be successful in this position, you will need to serve as the eyes and ears of the office, providing information, answering questions, and responding to requests from customers, managers/supervisors, and other colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
- Responds to emails and other digital queries and correspondences.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports for the first 30 business days of hire and then be able to execute on your own thereafter.
- Ensures that deadlines are met and adapts to changing priorities.
- Asist in curating estimates and invoices for existing and potential new customers.
- Becoming fluent in standard product knowledge within 30 to 60 business days of hire to answer customer questions and assist them in selection.
- Assist in UPS/FedEx program for product shipments.
- Other tasks assigned after the first 30 business days of hire.
- May assist with running errands during the day.
Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year experience in customer service/ administrative work
- Familiarity with standard office platforms such as MS Office and QuickBooks
- Detailed Oriented/Organized.
- Strong time management, able to multitasking, flexibility all a must
- Ability to work well under pressure and navigate multiple deadlines.
- Presents a positive and professional demeanor, with the ability to diffuse tense situations.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Ability to ask questions when needed.
- Work well independently, accomplishing all required tasks
- Skills (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
Hours/Benefit:
- Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 3-day weekends

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
