What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines across multiple data sources
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of a modern data warehouse
- Partner with engineering and business teams to deliver high-quality, accessible data
- Monitor and optimize existing pipelines for performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Automate manual data processes to improve team productivity
- Troubleshoot and resolve data ingestion and reporting issues
- Ensure data accuracy, availability, and integrity across systems
- Support data modeling initiatives, including Data Vault methodology
- Assist with data cataloging and classification efforts
- Develop and deploy reporting solutions as needed
- Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver data-driven solutions
- Participate in peer reviews and promote best practices
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
- Support regulatory and reporting data requests
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6 years of data engineering experience
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools
- Solid background in data modeling and database design (Data Vault experience is a plus)
- Experience with SSIS package development and support
- Experience working with event-driven data (APIs, queues, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile development environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with Power BI is a plus
- Insurance or financial services experience is a plus
