Our top client in the travel/transportation industry is searching for a Data Scientist to join their team! Ideal candidates have 2 years of experience in Data Science and a PhD (Master's degree minimum required) with a strong background in mathematics and deep learning. You will be working end-to-end with a small team to support a variety of internal initiatives for the company. *Candidates must currently be located in the Greater St. Louis area. This is a hybrid position with onsite as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
- Must be located in the Greater St. Louis area
- Master's degree in a statistical, mathematical, engineering, social science, or related quantitative field
- 2 years of experience with predictive modeling, statistical inference, and deep learning techniques
- Experience using deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Proficiency with Python or R
- Experience presenting technical concepts and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Commitment to incorporating security considerations into daily responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in a statistical, mathematical, engineering, social science, or related quantitative field
- Experience designing and analyzing experiments
- Experience with data exploration and visualization techniques
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
- Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Experience integrating and managing data from multiple sources and formats
- Experience applying causal inference methodologies, including matching, weighting, or related techniques
- Familiarity with deploying and operationalizing machine learning models
