We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our supportive team in providing high-quality behavioral therapy services. Key Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote positive behaviors and skill development as designed by BCBAs.
  • Collect and record accurate behavioral data.
  • Assist in skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures.
  • Collaborate with clinical team members and families.
  • Support learners in developing communication, social, academic, and life skills through structured teaching methods.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with team members, including supervisors and caregivers, to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies and care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, behavior management, special education, medical documentation, and relevant medical terminology.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder.
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies.
  • Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies effectively.
  • Strong data collection skills and attention to detail for tracking client progress accurately.
  • Compassionate approach with excellent patience and communication skills for working with diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with medical records, care plans, and documentation procedures related to behavioral health is preferred.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
