Adaptive Minds is expanding — and we’re looking for an exceptional Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to help launch and lead our new Occupational Therapy department.

This isn’t just another pediatric OT position.

You’ll have the opportunity to help build our OT program from the ground up, shape how services are delivered, collaborate with an established ABA clinical team, and play a meaningful role in growing the department.

Adaptive Minds is a growing ABA therapy organization in Las Vegas providing evidence-based ABA therapy to children and young adults with autism and other developmental needs.

Our approach is collaborative and family-centered. BCBAs, RBTs, caregivers, and other professionals work together to help each child build meaningful skills, greater independence, and confidence.

As we expand into Occupational Therapy, our goal is to bring that same collaborative approach to a truly integrated pediatric therapy environment.

As our Lead Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you’ll provide direct clinical care while helping us develop and grow the OT program.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Conduct pediatric OT evaluations and assessments
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide therapy targeting sensory processing, fine and gross motor development, self-care, daily living, regulation, and functional independence
• Collaborate closely with BCBAs and other members of the child’s clinical team
• Partner with parents and caregivers to help skills carry over into everyday life
• Help shape OT programming, clinical workflows, documentation standards, and best practices
• Participate in the future growth and hiring of the OT team
• Track outcomes and continuously improve the quality of services we provide

We’re looking for someone who combines excellent clinical judgment with the energy and initiative to help build a growing program.

Required:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Nevada, or eligible for Nevada licensure
• OTR/L credential
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, child-centered care
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and meet professional and regulatory standards
• OT experience working with children with ASD

We’d especially love to meet you if you have:

• Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
• Experience with sensory processing, regulation, motor development, ADLs, or related pediatric needs
• Experience collaborating with ABA, speech, behavioral health, or other multidisciplinary teams
• An interest in leadership, mentorship, or program development

A master’s or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy is welcome; an OTD is not required.

You won’t be walking into an empty startup and being asked to figure everything out alone.

You’ll be joining an established and growing pediatric organization with existing infrastructure, an experienced clinical team, and children and families already receiving services — while still having the opportunity to help build our OT department from the beginning.
