Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Documentation
- Assist with onboarding apprentices and conducting progress reviews
- Collect required documentation and RFEs from employers
- Support applicants in completing all necessary forms
- Provide an overview of apprenticeship and journeyman expectations
- Complete the required anti-harassment training
Compliance & Reporting
- Collect proof of prior work experience for advanced credit consideration
- Gather job competency feedback from site supervisors
- Provide ongoing employer training on program requirements and compliance
- Ensure all legal postings and apprenticeship materials are visible on job sites
- Collect payroll and compliance documentation from contractors
- Complete weekly site surveys using Fast Fields
Training Coordination
- Schedule and confirm training sessions within required timelines
- Ensure training spaces are properly set up and available
- Mobilize laptops and verify equipment readiness
- Communicate training expectations to the site supervisor
Employer & Contractor Support
- Provide on-site mobilization and execution support at construction locations
- Connect contractors with compliance teams for payroll and regulatory questions
- Share apprenticeship participation requirements and labor hour expectations
- Attend weekly POD meetings to track contractor mobilizations
- Communicate with contractors to ensure proper apprentice-to-journeyman ratios
Issue Resolution & Oversight
- Address and resolve employer or apprentice concerns professionally
- Document and escalate issues to project managers when necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Assist in collecting third-party apprenticeship documentation during delays
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in HR, safety, training, construction, or project management preferred
- Ability to work on-site daily
- Willingness to travel to Houston for two weeks of initial training
- Strong HR and organizational skills, including communication, multitasking, data analytics, and prioritization
- Ability to generate accurate and timely reports
