Branch Manager

Summary:
Founded in 1985, Adaptall is a manufacturer and supplier of Hydraulic Metric/British Fittings & Adapters with facilities in Pickering and Mississauga, Ontario; Houston, Texas; and Twinsburg, Ohio. Reporting to General Manager, the Branch Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations, staffing, customer service, administration and warehousing needs of a given branch or location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the given branch
- Oversee the entire branch personnel in customer service, warehousing, and administration. Responsible for building maintenance, leasing of premises, rental of equipment, and other operational related activities
- Works with contractors, outside vendors, utility and service providers
- Works with HR Coordinator for hiring, onboarding, disciplining, and terminations.
- Oversees training of branch staff and employee performance
- Perform CSR, warehouse, and admin duties when as needed (absences, inventory counts, etc.)
- Supports outside salesperson in order to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure employees are complying with company policies
- Oversees time off requests, absences, and reports details to payroll and HR
- Ensure a safe and fair working environment
- Responsible for building cleanliness, housekeeping, and organization.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years minimum experience in a similar management role
- College or University degree in Business Admin, Business Management, etc.
- Experience in hydraulic and warehouse industry a major plus.
- Able leader and effective problem solver
- Diligent, organized, and well prepared
- Strong management skills
- Can communicate and collaborate effectively, written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs and the ability to learn in house ERP system.
- Ability to multitask on a variety of projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
