Help Develop the Next Generation of Vehicle Safety Technology

Adapt Technology is seeking an experienced ADAS Engineer to support the Vehicle Systems (IVS) Department in the development of next-generation Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

This is an opportunity to work directly on technologies that help shape current and future vehicles—from early development and system integration through testing, validation, issue resolution, and production.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys being hands-on with vehicle technology, working across hardware and software, analyzing CAN data, solving complex technical problems, and collaborating with engineering teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will help manage, develop, integrate, and evaluate ADAS technologies throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.

  • Develop ADAS parts and systems from initial concept through Start of Production (SOP)
  • Establish system targets, packaging, electrical interfaces, parameters, and development requirements
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate milestones with engineering teams and suppliers
  • Support ADAS technologies including AEB, ACC, LKAS, PKSB, BSM, PVM, BGM, cameras, and related systems
  • Integrate system software with vehicle hardware platforms
  • Analyze CAN/CAN-FD data and validate vehicle and system performance
  • Perform virtual, HIL, and MIL testing using model-based simulation
  • Review requirements, test specifications, and technical deliverables with suppliers
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement countermeasures for system and field issues
  • Apply development quality tools including DFMEA, DRBFM, and FTA
  • Participate in vehicle evaluation and manufacturing activities
  • Collaborate with local engineering teams and ADAS development engineers
  • Support joint testing, troubleshooting, bug fixes, and system validation
  • Communicate technical results and recommendations to engineering leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, or an equivalent technical field
  • 5 years of experience leading or collaborating on mid-size or large-scale ADAS system development from concept through production
  • Experience with vehicle ECU architecture and CAN/CAN-FD communication
  • Experience developing ADAS systems and related components
  • Experience with Python and/or C
  • Experience with HIL, MIL, and model-based simulation
  • Experience reviewing supplier requirements and test specifications
  • Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with DFMEA, DRBFM, FTA, or similar development-quality methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting technical information to senior leadership
  • Excellent time-management, interpersonal communication, and task-prioritization skills
  • Ability to work effectively across engineering teams and international organizations
