Forklift Operator
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Position Summary
Adapt A Pak is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe operation of a propane sit-down forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting daily warehouse operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane sit-down forklift.
- Perform and document daily pre-shift forklift inspections.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks efficiently and safely.
- Move, stage, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Utilize computer systems for inventory and shipping/receiving functions.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate a propane sit-down forklift.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
