Position Summary
The Regional Recruiter for the Central Region is responsible for developing and executing strategic recruitment initiatives to attract, hire, and retain high-quality healthcare professionals and support staff across assigned NHC partner locations. This role partners closely with facility Managers and leadership teams to understand workforce needs, ensure timely hiring, and support NHC’s commitment to excellence in patient care and partner satisfaction.
The Regional Recruiter plays a key role in building strong candidate pipelines, promoting NHC as an employer of choice, and ensuring a positive and efficient hiring experience aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.
NHC Central Region includes 11 skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers located throughout Middle Tennessee and North Georgia, including Murfreesboro, Cookeville, McMinnville, Sparta, Smithville, Tullahoma, Dunlap (Sequatchie), Chattanooga, Fort Oglethorpe, and Rossville.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned Central Region facilities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Partner with Managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, networking, career fairs, social media, and professional organizations.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of candidates for high-demand roles such as nurses, therapists, and support staff.
- Ensure job postings accurately reflect position requirements and organizational expectations.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and facility Managers.
- Facilitate timely communication with applicants regarding application status.
- Support hiring Managers with interview best practices and selection guidance.
- Assist with offer preparation and onboarding coordination as needed.
- Promote a positive candidate experience from application through hire.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with facility leadership, HR partners, and regional teams.
- Serve as a recruitment resource for Managers by providing guidance on hiring trends, market conditions, and talent availability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support workforce planning initiatives.
- Ensure recruiting activities align with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
- Support adherence to equal employment opportunity and fair hiring practices.
- Assist with reporting recruitment metrics as requested.
- Represent NHC at career fairs, networking events, and community activities.
- Build relationships with schools, training programs, and professional organizations to support candidate pipelines.
- Promote NHC’s mission, values, and career opportunities within the healthcare community.
Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, or healthcare talent acquisition preferred.
- Experience recruiting clinical roles (RN, LPN, CNA, Therapy) strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-site or regional hiring initiatives is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with Managers and candidates.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple job requisitions simultaneously.
- Knowledge of recruiting best practices and sourcing techniques.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Position will be based at NHC Murfreesboro
- Travel within the Central Region will be required to support hiring events and facility visits.
- Standard business hours with flexibility based on recruiting needs.
