Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead commercial plumbing construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and site experience will drive successful project delivery. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, schematics, blueprints, and contract specifications.
- Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling and tracking tools to proactively meet deadlines.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to facilitate accurate execution of construction tasks.
- Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and progress reports.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment while maintaining quality standards; utilize construction estimating techniques for cost control.
- Lead project meetings and coordinate efforts across teams to resolve issues swiftly and keep projects on track.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in project scheduling and negotiatin.
- Hands-on construction site experience with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and contracts confidently.
- Proficiency in commercial plumbing construction estimating
- Knowledge of construction management software platforms like ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of project coordination practices or commercial construction environments.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members. Preferred qualifications include experience in construction site supervision or civil engineering projects, certifications related to project management or safety standards, and familiarity with contracts and legal aspects of commercial plumbing construction projects.
