Adams, Inc. is seeking a driven and customer-focused Home Services Advisor to help homeowners find reliable energy solutions, including standby generators and other home services.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-home consultations with qualified leads
- Assess customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
- Design and present generator and home service proposals
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through close
- Build lasting relationships with customers and partners
What We're Looking For:
- 5 years of sales experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working in a consultative, in-home sales environment
- Technical aptitude or willingness to learn home energy systems
- Valid driver’s license
Location
Your area of responsibility is the 2-hour radius surrounding Morris, IL - meaning that you will have in-home consultations in any direction, up to about 2-hours from Morris, IL. You will be allowed to work from home in between consultations, as well as use a company vehicle to travel to consultations.
Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation for this role is $100,000 with a base pay of $50,000 plus commission – potential earnings are uncapped. We offer a full, comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, 401K, paid holidays along with health, dental, vision, and life insurances and company discounts. You will receive a company vehicle, laptop, and iPad as well as access to our CRM, MS Office SUite, and other related toos.
Schedule Requirements
This role requires flexibility, as work schedules may occasionally include evenings and weekends based on customer availability.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Regular driving and travel throughout the day to and from customer residences
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the day
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with customers in person and over the phone
- Ability to hear and speak clearly in a variety of environments
- Comfortable using tablets, laptops, and mobile technology in the field
- Ability to lift and carry light materials (up to 20 pounds) as needed
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying conditions
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in customer homes
- Strong time management and ability to work independently throughout the day
