Assistant Property Manager (PT)

Adams Property Group is seeking a PT ~ 15 hrs per week Self Storage Assistant Manager to manage and maintain the daily operations of our properties. This individual will manage customer relationships, oversee third-party vendors, and assist with preventative maintenance. This role is also responsible for the sales and management of unit and truck reservations, store materials, and marketing to local communities.

A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, work well with others and have an eagerness to learn more.

Requirements of the role may include but are not limited to, weekend and some holiday availability, occasional travel, light maintenance, and excellent computer and organizational skills. The physical demands of this job require the ability to lift and move 35 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Job Description:

• Mileage reimbursement is provided when traveling to other properties or other work-related duties
• We evaluate our customer storage needs and make suggestions, such as selling packing and moving supplies & boxes
• Daily Walk-throughs to confirm unit inventory and availability helps make sure spaces are rent ready
• Making bank deposits are part of the daily business
• We help keep our customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls
  
  
  

Required Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift / move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Our property managers should be able to walk in / around facilities spending up to half of their time outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large roll up doors.
• Performing cleaning and daily maintenance tasks : including sweeping and mopping areas and maintain exterior grounds / curb appeal clean and free of debris
