Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will excel in guest relations, communication, and providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential in ensuring smooth seating arrangements and maintaining a positive first impression of our establishment. The Host will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for managing reservations, greeting visitors, and supporting the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
• Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests
• Maintain a clean and organized host station and waiting area
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to proper phone etiquette
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest flow
• Assist in guest inquiries regarding restaurant policies
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
• Uphold hospitality standards to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests

Skills

• Previous Host/host experience or background in food service preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience in hospitality, hotel guest services, or serving roles is a plus
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
• Ability to handle guest inquiries with patience and professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 35 per week
