About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Commercial Litigation team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex cases from inception through trial. You will play a critical role in supporting attorneys and ensuring seamless case management.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with all phases of commercial litigation, including case intake, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities
Draft, review, and organize pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents
Manage document production and maintain case files using electronic document management systems
Coordinate and prepare discovery responses, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
Prepare deposition and trial notebooks; organize exhibits and evidence for hearings and trials
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel to schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings
Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and filing requirements
Maintain accurate billing records
Qualifications
Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience required
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures in state and federal courts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Knowledge of billing practices and timekeeping requirements
Preferred Skills
Experience with trial attendance
Familiarity with e-discovery platforms
Salary: $75-$100k/yr.
