New Homebuilder Division General Manager

Each member of the Adams Homes family is hired based on the following qualities: a positive "Can Do!" attitude, a strong work ethic, and being a coachable team player.Job Responsibilities Communicate with the corporate office to achieve corporate and divisional goalsEnsure the division is in compliance with the company policies, procedures, and the corporate compliance program, as well as with federal, state, and local regulationsFacilitate recruitment, hiring, training, and development of divisional employees, independent agents, vendors, and subcontractorsMaintain professional affiliations and enhance professional growth and development by continuing current on industry knowledge and trendsBuild and maintain relationships with third-party lot developers, landowners, and leadership members within other builders' organizations in the marketManage the division's pipeline of construction and company assets in collaboration with the Divisional Sales team, Production Managers, and staffMaintain the division's positive reputation within the community by attending hearings for proposed projects and meet with government officials when necessaryDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with management, staff, vendors, building departments and inspectors, attorneys, and the publicRequirementsStrong skills in planning, contract negotiation, and strategic decision-making Experience implementing sales and marketing programsKnowledge of land acquisition and fiscal managementUnderstanding of human resources management principlesWorking knowledge of residential construction regulationsWhy Adams Homes?
