Description
The Patient Access Service Specialist - ED is responsible for accurately registering patients upon arrival to the Emergency Department, collecting and verifying demographic and financial information, and obtaining required consents for treatment. This position also assists uninsured patients by screening them for presumptive eligibility for available medical coverage. The role is responsible for obtaining required Medicare notices and consents for patients admitted to the hospital or placed in observation for additional testing and care.
Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!
Requirements
40 hours per week - First Shift
Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Prior Registration Experience Preferred
Insurance Knowledge Preferred
