The Staff Nurse assists in coordinating person-centered nursing care for residents and in doing so works closely with all members of the healthcare team. The Staff Nurse participates in resident and family education and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other resident care personnel in accordance with the philosophy and mission of Adams Health Network (AHN) and the Standards of Nursing Practice. It provides an environment conducive to resident safety and comfort. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the licensed nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Good communication skills with residents and staff, able to manage a nursing unit at night and make critical decisions with other caregivers through night hours.
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus - RN: $20,000 / LPN: $12,000

Requirements:
40 hours per week - Third Shift
Monday through Friday from 10:00 pm - 6:00 am
Valid RN or LPN license in the State of Indiana
BLS/CPR Certification Required
Senior Living Nursing Experience Preferred
