Position Summary
Responsible for preparing high-end custom cabinetry and millwork for finishing. Ensures all surfaces meet premium quality standards prior to stain, paint, or specialty finishes.
Essential Functions
- Sand and prepare custom cabinetry to a furniture-grade finish
- Inspect and correct surface imperfections
- Follow detailed finishing specifications
- Collaborate with finishing team to ensure quality standards
- 2 years of experience in custom woodworking or cabinetry preferred
- Knowledge of wood species and finishing prep
- Strong attention to detail
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to finishing chemicals and airborne particulates.
