As a Pricing & Receiving Clerk, you play a critical role in ensuring our products are ready for sale and accurately priced. You manage the flow of incoming goods, verify shipments, and maintain precise inventory records. This part-time position, working Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:00 AM to Noon, directly impacts our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by guaranteeing that merchandise is available and correctly priced. You contribute to a smooth and organized work environment, supporting the entire team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Shipping & Receiving: Receives, inspects, and processes incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Pricing Accuracy: Applies correct shelf labels and updates merchandise prices promptly and precisely.
- Data Entry: Accurately enters receiving data, pricing changes, and inventory adjustments into the system.
- Record Keeping: Organizes and files all shipping, receiving, and pricing documentation, ensuring easy retrieval.
- Organizational Skills: Maintains a clean, safe, and efficient receiving and storage area.
- Attention to Detail: Identifies and resolves discrepancies in shipments, pricing, and inventory records.
- Communicates effectively with team members regarding product arrivals and issues.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Demonstrates previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or administrative support role.
- Has experience with receiving, inventory, or data entry processes.
Knowledge/Skills
- Inventory Management: Understands basic inventory control principles.
- Data Entry: Exhibits accurate and efficient data entry skills.
- Pricing Accuracy: Shows a strong commitment to precise pricing and labeling.

Physical Requirements/Work Conditions
