Job Description
Summary: The Accounting Administrator supports the finance and accounting department by performing a variety of administrative and accounting tasks. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping, smooth daily accounting operations, and timely processing of transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with numbers and financial systems.
Responsibilities
· Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
· Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
· Maintain and update accounting records in the company's accounting software.
· Coordinate with external auditors and accountants.
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
· Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger entries.
· Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
· Prepare financial reports, summaries, and spreadsheets as requested.
Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience:
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
· Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, NetSuite).
· Strong computer skills.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience in an administrative or accounting support role.
· Organizational skills and attention to detail.
