Duties
- Assist with landscape tasks including , trimming, planting, and pruning to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
- Support installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structural elements
- Perform lawn care duties including , edging, and snow plowing during seasonal changes
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering coverage
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and tree removal
- Support general construction activities related to landscape projects while adhering to safety standards
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
- Prior experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or skidsteer is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely in outdoor environments
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques including tree care, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and general garden maintenance
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills and supporting team goals
