Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements. Help with the setup and operation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Conduct routine inspections using tools like ohmmeters to test circuits for continuity and proper function. Support the framing carpentry work associated with electrical installations and conduit pathways. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety standards are consistently met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn electrical trade skills and safety procedures
• Ability to follow directions and work well with a team
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and job site environments
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
• No previous experience required

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
