We are seeking a knowledgeable, conscientious candidate to perform a wide variety of professional and analytical work in support of grant opportunities for the Adams County Workforce and Business Center (WBC). This candidate, in conjunction with WBC management; will ensure performance and compliance of WBC Grants. This candidate will assist with planning and implementation of grant programs, monitoring grant performance, analyze the data from reports and make recommendations to WBC management.
The range of pay for this role is: $65,513.72 - $75,340.78. The potential full range of pay for this role is: $65,513.72 - $94,994.89.- Ensure grant program obligations and objectives through monitoring of monthly reports, meetings, and analysis of fiscal and programmatic data.
- Keep WBC Leadership informed of grant program performance; provide recommendations to WBC Leadership based on grant program performance.
- Work tactfully with WBC Supervisors to resolve performance or compliance issues.
- Review and analyze all section expenditures and make projections as part of the comprehensive planning of grants, programs, and services.
- Work with WBC Managers in planning notice of funding allocation (NFA) work plans, review history of grant program, and developing budgets.
- Work with WBC Managers and Supervisors in the planning of grant program services and the establishment of policies.
- Ensure fiscal awareness and integrity through periodic review of grant program expenditures and trends.
- Review WBC grant programs periodically for compliance to policy and assessment of success in meeting goals.
- Compile and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and other data metrics. Design and analyze monthly reports.
- Ensure grant programs comply with federal and state laws and rules, as well as county and department policies and procedures.
- Create grant outreach plans; conduct outreach to provide grant information to community partners, education providers, and private/public employers. May include development of marketing materials.
- Maintain grant program and quality assurance (QA) data and reports and related documents.
- Provide reports on caseload trends, special projects, and other reports at the request of management.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
- Experience: 5 years experience in grant administration, grant writing, policy writing, policy administration, or a related field required.
- Education and Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Economics or a related field
- An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the education and experience requirements above on a year for year basis.
- License or Certificate: Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Colorado driver's license.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check.
