What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Secretary/Receptionist position at Adams County Prosecutor's Office?
The Adams County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, is accepting applications for the position of Legal Secretary. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting attorneys in all aspects of legal office work, primarily Ritzville District Court, as well as telephone and reception duties. The person occupying this position will be required to carry a caseload and must be able to work independently. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, have knowledge of computer programs, have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and have a valid Washington State Driver’s License. Office hours are Monday through Friday 7:30-4:30. This is a full-time represented position, which is currently classified at Range A of the Union Court House Salary Schedule of $19.78 - $20.69 hourly. Initial step placement at time of hiring is dependent upon prior relevant experience and qualifications. County employees enjoy paid vacation, sick leave, and 13 holidays per year.
