Marketing Assistant
Adams County Library System
The Adams County Library System is looking for a creative, proactive Marketing Assistant to help promote our programs, services, and events. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys thinking outside the box, creating fresh content, and finding new ways to connect with the community.
What you’ll do:
- Create and share content for social media, newsletters, website, and print materials.
- Keep campaigns fresh by suggesting and implementing new ideas.
- Manage projects like our quarterly What’s Happening guide and event promotions.
- Work with staff, vendors, and community partners to expand outreach.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in marketing, communications, or related work (nonprofit experience a plus).
- Strong communication and organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A self-starter who can manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Canva; social media know-how.
This is a non-exempt, 40-hour per week position requiring some evening and weekend hours. Typical work week is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Hiring range is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour based on training and experience.
Applicants must obtain PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal Record Check, and Federal Criminal History Record, through FBI Fingerprinting prior to beginning employment.
