Position Summary
The Middle & High School Mathematics Teacher will provide rigorous, standards-based math instruction for students in grades 6–12 within a Christ-centered learning environment. The teacher will integrate biblical principles into teaching, model Christian character, and partner with families in supporting students’ spiritual, academic, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for courses such as Remedial Math, Fundamentals of Math, Algebra I, and Algebra II.
- Integrate a biblical worldview into math instruction, helping students see the order, beauty, and logic of God’s creation through mathematical concepts.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and support student success.
- Use varied teaching strategies and educational technology to promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Align instruction with school curriculum standards and Christian educational philosophy.
Assessment & Student Progress
- Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to measure student understanding.
- Use data to guide instruction and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of student performance and attendance.
Classroom Environment
- Establish a positive, respectful, and Christ-honoring classroom culture.
- Model Christ-like behavior, biblical values, and a heart for discipleship.
- Implement effective classroom management in alignment with Christian principles and school policies.
- Encourage student engagement, curiosity, and a growth mindset.
Communication & Collaboration
- Maintain open, professional communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Partner with families in supporting the academic and spiritual development of students.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance the school community.
- Participate in chapel services, staff prayer, devotional times, and other faith-centered school activities.
Professional Responsibilities

- Actively engage in professional development and spiritual growth.
- Participate in school-related events, committees, and extracurricular activities as assigned.
Pay: $12,000.00 - $15,000.00 per year
