The Asphalt Paver Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing asphalt pavers and related paving equipment. This role ensures our machines operate safely and efficiently, keeping projects on schedule and minimizing downtime.

Duties / Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair asphalt pavers, rollers, and other paving equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
- Support field crews with on-site equipment repairs when needed.
- Maintain accurate service records and follow all safety protocols.
- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- The ability to quickly move your hand to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions.
- The ability to detect or tell the differences between sounds that vary in pitch and loudness.
- The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and around active construction sites.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of experience with asphalt pavers or heavy equipment repair.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read equipment manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.
