Under general supervision of a plant superintendent, the**Laborer**performs a variety of manual or semiskilled tasks related to cleanup and grounds maintenance in and around asphalt plant.

Responsibilites
- Plant Maintenance and Upkeep
- Production Support
- Safety Compliance
- Uses tools such as sledge hammer, wrenches, screwdrivers, cutting torch, welder, pneumatic hammer/drill, sand blaster, pipe wrench, hand shovel.
- Must be physically capable of climbing stairs/ladders at extended heights to reach top of plant.
- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects
- The ability to use one's abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without "giving out" or fatiguing
- The ability to quickly move the arms or legs
- The ability to exert one's self physically over long periods of time without getting winded or out of breath
- Able to understand and follow verbal and or written directions paying attention to detail
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads of up to 50 pounds or more on a daily basis
- High School diploma/GED.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Candidates must be able to work overtime, nights, and weekends, as projects demand.
- Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test as well as random tests if selected during employment.
