Tool Room Attendant
Location - California, MD
Requirements:
- Inventory, store, and distribute hand tools and other equipment including support equipment used in aviation.
- Maintain tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage.
- Inventory tools and support equipment by tracking the distribution of tools and users in a database or other system.
- Maintain tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage
- Orders new tools and equipment or repairs tools as needed
- Knowledge and understanding of aviation tools and equipment
- Understanding of CNAF 4790.2 series Tool Control and IMRL preferred
- Able to work under moderate supervision.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an industrial environment, familiar with heavy machinery, special tools, calibrated tooling, test equipment, common hand tools, and support equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate
- Requires 1-3 years of related experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain base access.
