Responsibilities
- Assist roofing crews with the installation, repair, and maintenance of different roofing systems, including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile laying.
- Handle and operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support roofing tasks.
- Set up ladders and scaffolding securely, adhering to all ladder use safety protocols.
- Follow construction plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, including proper disposal of debris and materials.
- Support heavy lifting activities for materials such as shingles, metal panels, or insulation components.
- Adhere strictly to construction safety harnesses, workplace safety regulations, and safety protocol adherence at all times.
Requirements
- Prior construction or outdoor work experience is required.
- Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and general construction workplace safety regulations.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools.
- Experience with roofing repair, siding installation, stucco application, or remodeling projects is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling tasks.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience.
- Strong attention to safety protocols including construction site safety regulations.
