We're looking for an experienced banker to join our retail operations team!
This position can work from most branch locations in CO, NE, KS, and AZ, or the Operations Center in Ogallala, NE.
Position Summary
The Operations Assistant role provides critical operational support for deposit services with a focus on IntraFi programs, wire transfer support, and account maintenance functions. This role supports daily operations, enhances departmental coverage, and serves as a key backup to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuity within Deposit Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- IntraFi Program Support
- Provide operational support for IntraFi products (ICS/CDARS), including setup, maintenance, monitoring, and reconciliation.
- Assist with reporting, exception resolution, and coordination with internal partners and IntraFi representatives.
- Wire Transfer Support
- Serve as backup support for incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
- Assist with wire processing, verification, research, and issue resolution in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Account MaintenanceDeposit Operations Support
- Perform and support account maintenance activities such as account changes, signatory updates, documentation review, and system maintenance.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Provide training/support to front line employees
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience in deposit operations or deposit services within a financial institution (two years minimum).
- Strong understanding of deposit products, account structures, and account maintenance processes.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of/Experience with IntraFi (ICS/CDARS) programs.
- Prior exposure to wire transfer processing or wire operations support.
- Familiarity with core banking systems and operational workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
This position must have the flexibility to work at the Operations Center in Ogallala, NE at least once a quarter for multiple days at a time to develop team connections and further participate with hands on training opportunities. Travel to Nebraska or Colorado may be required for ongoing training, but especially in the first 90 days. Position could be based in most any branch location for the individual with the right skill set.
