In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our center's staff and students.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including local agencies, community groups, and safety personnel, to implement safety protocols that protect individuals and property. Your expertise and proactive approach will help identify potential hazards and develop strategic solutions to mitigate risks.

As a Safety & Security Advisor, you will also engage with the community through educational campaigns, promoting a culture of safety awareness. With your positive attitude and strong communication skills, you will build trust and rapport with staff and students, alleviating their concerns and enhancing their understanding of safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Safety & Security Department in maintaining a safe and secure Center environment.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Responsible for Center security, visitor control, and student accountability.
• Provide safety training and education programs to community members and staff.
• Respond to safety and security incidents, conducting investigations and documentation as needed.
• Analyze safety data and trends to improve ongoing safety protocols and strategies.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with community organizations to promote safety awareness and education.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 21
• Valid State-issued Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
• Certifications in CPR, First Aid, or other relevant safety training preferred.
