Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate engaging recreational programs for various demographics.
• Supervise and train a team of recreation staff and volunteers.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
• Foster community relationships and promote recreational programs.
• Manage budgets, resources, and inventory related to recreational activities.
• Collect and analyze feedback to improve program offerings continually.
• Plan and organize special events and community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 21
• Valid State-issued Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• A passion for recreation, physical fitness, and community engagement.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
