Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep our campus operating safely and efficiently by: Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and facility systems. Responding promptly to maintenance requests and completing work orders accurately. Inspecting building systems to ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently. Researching and recommending replacement equipment when needed. Assisting with oversight of contractors performing repairs or equipment installations. Supporting and mentoring students participating in work-based learning opportunities. Maintaining the appearance and functionality of campus buildings and grounds. Providing student transportation when needed. Planning and prioritizing assignments to meet deadlines while delivering quality workmanship. Collaborating with staff across departments to provide an outstanding experience for students. Serving as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and respect. Promoting a safe, supportive, and inclusive campus environment. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED. Advanced degrees preferred. Minimum one-year experience in building maintenance required. Technical certificate preferred. Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers and other building systems preferred. Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
