About the Role

As a Food Service Assistant at NH Job Corps, you’ll be an essential part of our kitchen team, preparing and serving nutritious meals that fuel our students' growth both inside and outside the classroom. Your work will directly support their journey toward healthy habits and success, ensuring they have the energy and mindset to thrive in their training and beyond. This role is as much about community and care as it is about food — you’ll be helping to create an environment where students feel nourished and supported every day.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve high-quality, balanced meals that meet diverse dietary needs
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed
• Help educate students about nutrition to encourage healthier food choices
• Support kitchen operations efficiently while working closely with the culinary team
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote a safe environment

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid, current driver’s license
• A genuine interest in working with young adults and supporting their development
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety practices
• Reliability, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset
