We’re looking for a dedicated Driver’s Education Instructor who is passionate about guiding our students toward independence and career readiness. This role offers a unique chance to teach more than just driving—you’ll be shaping futures by helping students earn their State Driver’s Licenses, a key milestone that opens doors to employment, higher education, and advanced training.
What You’ll Do
- Lead engaging classroom sessions covering traffic laws, defensive driving, and road safety principles.
- Provide hands-on, behind-the-wheel training aligned with New Hampshire state regulations.
- Assess and track student progress, maintaining clear and accurate records.
- Create a supportive, structured environment that prioritizes safety and student growth.
- Ensure all program activities comply with Job Corps, state, and Department of Labor policies.
- Work closely with fellow staff to support student success and retention across the center.
What We’re Looking For
- You hold a Provisional or Standard New Hampshire Driver’s Education Certification (we happily support provisional instructors obtaining standard certification in partnership with a local school).
- Experience delivering clear, motivating instruction tailored to diverse learners.
- A patient, approachable attitude with a genuine commitment to student success.
- Strong organizational skills to keep courses on track and documentation thorough.
- A collaborative spirit eager to contribute to a team focused on making a difference.
Why Join NH Job Corps?
Beyond a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
- 11 paid holidays annually and vacation time beginning from day one.
- Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability coverage, effective the month after hire.
- 401(k) plan with company match after one year of service.
- A vibrant, diverse team that celebrates both student achievements and staff growth.
- Convenient, accessible location with plenty of parking and easy highway access.
At NHJC, your work will have an immediate and tangible impact, providing young people the confidence and skills they need to drive toward brighter futures. You’ll be joining a community committed to hard work and meaningful results, where every day brings the satisfaction of real progress.
