Adamas Building Services is looking for an exceptional, customer service-oriented Security Officer with experience working in luxury residential communities. Our company is a leading expert in the Residential Services market with properties throughout New Jersey, New York, Florida and Pennsylvania.

We have openings at our Long Branch, NJ location.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 11pm-7am
Pay Rate: $17

• Providing a visible security presence while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and building staff.
• Monitoring and controlling access to the property, including verifying residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and other authorized visitors.
• Meeting and greeting residents and guests while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
• Maintaining accurate visitor, incident, activity, and access-control logs in accordance with company and property procedures.
• Monitoring security cameras, building entrances, exits, common areas, and other designated areas of the property.
• Conducting routine interior and exterior patrols of the building and grounds to identify safety, security, maintenance, or operational concerns.
• Responding promptly and professionally to security incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and resident concerns.
• Contacting management, emergency services, law enforcement, or other appropriate personnel when necessary.
• Enforcing building rules, regulations, and security procedures while maintaining a professional and respectful approach.
• Monitoring deliveries, vendors, contractors, and service personnel entering and exiting the property as required.
• Reporting suspicious activity, safety hazards, property damage, unauthorized access, and other incidents to management.
• Completing detailed and accurate incident reports and shift reports.
• Assisting residents and guests with building-related questions and providing appropriate information or directions.
• Properly communicating all relevant security, safety, and operational information to the Lead Security Officer, Property Management, and Adamas management team.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional security desk and post.
• Maintaining confidentiality regarding residents, guests, building operations, and security-related information.
• Providing exceptional customer service while maintaining security awareness and exercising sound judgment.
• Following all Adamas Building Services policies, post orders, emergency procedures, and applicable property rules.
• Occasionally lifting and carrying packages, equipment, or other items weighing approximately 10–25 lbs.

This version makes the position read as actual residential security, rather than simply changing “Concierge” to “Security Officer,” while still preserving Adamas's luxury/customer-service branding.

Requirements:

•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•  Must be professional, reliable, and have excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible working hours
• Ability to use a general office equipment such as computer, telephone, fax machine, as well as other computer tracking systems used at the property.
• Should be computer savvy with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet
• Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.

Other Requirements

• Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis; Overtime may be required for this position.
• Ability to work weekends and non-traditional holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass comprehensive background check.
