Summary: The function of the Packaging Team Leader is to package third-party customers and group products following all safety, quality and packaging procedures by providing direction to teams of Packaging Operators.
Core Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
High School Diploma or GED. Prefer at least one year packaging experience.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, bend and lift up to 70 pounds frequently throughout the day.
Must be able to see and hear.
Work Environment
Plant environment. Regular exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Summary: The function of the Packaging Team Leader is to package third-party customers and group products following all safety, quality and packaging procedures by providing direction to teams of Packaging Operators.
Core Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Prepare and set up packaging equipment.
- Prepare and stage all materials for packaging line.
- Complete reporting as necessary, including recording Lot Numbers, etc.
- Operate and troubleshoot various packaging fillers.
- Operate and troubleshoot various bag and/or cap sealers.
- Operate and troubleshoot various box sealers.
- Stack product on pallets based on required standards.
- Operate stretch wrap equipment.
- Operate forklift.
- Provide training and direction to Packaging Operators (2 – 4) on one or more packaging lines simultaneously.
- Any other duties as assigned by Packaging Supervisor, Plant Manager or other Supervisor or Manager
- Must be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work in a high volume/high speed environment
- Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours per day.
- Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
