As our Insurance Sales Rep, your day will revolve around making outbound calls, connecting with potential customers, and helping people find the right auto, home, and life insurance coverage. You’ll work from agency-provided lead lists, speak with prospects who respond to mailers and online ads, and receive calls transferred from our sales development team. You’ll also ask satisfied customers for referrals and connect them with our life insurance specialist.
We’re a locally owned Allstate agency with more than 20 years of service in New York. We’ve grown by investing in our people, marketing, and technology, and we believe new team members deserve clear goals, hands-on coaching, and the tools to improve. You don’t need an insurance license to start. We’ll help you get licensed and train you to become a full Insurance Sales Producer.
The base hourly pay starts at $18, with higher pay possible based on experience. First-year earnings are around $50,000-$85,000, including commissions and bonuses. You’ll also have PTO, health insurance, equipment provided, and a hybrid work arrangement.

Requirements
- Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to learn insurance products and sales processes.
- Motivation to work toward sales goals.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with prospects.
- Willingness to obtain an insurance license with agency support.
- Openness to training and coaching.
- Ability to work in a hybrid remote arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Make daily outbound calls to agency-provided lead lists.
- Handle calls transferred from sales development representatives.
- Follow up with prospects from mailers and online ads.
- Write 30 insurance items per month.
- Refer life insurance opportunities to the life specialist.
- Ask customers for referrals.
- Work toward agency sales goals with coaching and support.
