Starting at $20/hour Performance Bonuses ($23–$26/hr potential)

North Coast Optometry is a high-energy, patient-focused practice looking for an outgoing team member to join our optical department. No optical experience is required — we provide structured in-house training and support ABO certification for employees who want to grow in the industry.
This role is ideal for a man or woman who enjoys working face-to-face with people, appreciates good style, and is excited by a sales-driven environment.
What Success Looks Like
- Building strong relationships that create loyal patients
- Helping patients purchase eyewear and annual contact lens supplies
- Confidently recommending products and lens options
- Maintaining high conversion from eye exams to eyewear purchases
- Creating a fun, personalized experience for every patient
Responsibilities
- Help patients select frames, lenses, and contact lenses
- Guide patients through a consultative sales process
- Ask questions about lifestyle, work, hobbies, and visual needs
- Explain lens options, insurance benefits, and pricing
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Organize inventory and maintain the optical area
- Assist with general office support and patient flow
