Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist
Location: Kearney, NE
Reports To: Adam Marshall – Owner and Jaiden Graham – Office Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer service oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for our office, providing excellent in person and phone support while assisting with daily administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, efficient, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Client Interaction:
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer incoming phone calls using a multi-line system and direct them appropriately
- Check voicemails and return calls or route messages to the correct personnel
- Assist clients with account setup, updates, and navigating the auction platform
- Help guide clients through bidding and payment processes
- Address general auction inquiries or direct callers to the appropriate team member
- Take detailed and accurate messages and ensure timely delivery
Office & Administrative Support:
- Execute consignor contracts and maintain organized records
- Perform data entry, filing, and general correspondence
- Organize and manage vehicle titles, keys, and related documentation
- Maintain and update auction spreadsheets (contacts, lien searches, commissions, etc.)
- Maintain contract books with detailed item information
- Assist with title processing as needed
Office Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Sweep and keep the front office tidy and presentable
- Maintain front kitchen cleanliness (floors, counters, and general upkeep)
Shipping & Additional Support:
- Assist with shipping needs, including preparing packages and labels
- Support other office staff with tasks during downtime
- Make follow up calls to clients regarding pickups (titles, checks, etc.)
Auction Loadout / Payment Days:
- Occasionally work extended hours depending on auction schedule
- Typical hours are 8AM – 4PM, with occasional 9AM – 5PM days
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Familiarity with office equipment and procedures
