Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and serve with enthusiasm to create a welcoming environment
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales, food service transactions, and cash register operations
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality standards and food safety protocols are met
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety management, and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on customer preferences
- Manage customer orders from start to finish, including serving, bussing tables, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred, demonstrating ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong background in food handling, restaurant service, or café operations with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions and order processing
- Proven skills in cash register operations, retail math, and basic math to ensure accurate transactions
- Experience operating kitchen equipment or assisting with food preparation is a plus but not required
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices essential for maintaining a clean and safe environment
