We are seeking an SAP IS-U Solutions Architect for a full-time job opportunity with a direct client located in the New Castle DE area. The SAP IS-U Solutions Architect will lead and manager the SAP transformation projects, initially IS-U and eventually expanding into IS-U, Financial and Inventory.
Salary range: $160K to $170K depending on experience, education, and other factors. No C2C candidates, nor a fee option.
This is a hybrid environment, and candidates should be local to the Delaware area.
Job responsibilities:
- Will lead and manage SAP transformation Programs efforts, in an S4 Hana environment, at various stages from Business Process Design to solution design, development and deployment.
- Will be extensively working in SAP S/4 HANA Utilities (ISU) in the utility domain.
- Will create As-Is and To-Be models, design BRD documents and blueprints, and map business process to best practices.
- Will lead the design, build, test and deploy solution in SAP ISU with proficiency in WRICEF (Workflows, Reports, Interface, Conversions, Extensions, and Forms)
- Will guide, mentor, and review the end-to-end solution and perform issue resolutions during support and Post-Go Live phase.
- Will lead functional and technical teams, working with consultants/SMEs and leading them through the project life cycle and support activities.
- Will manage and support production environments and AMS services.
Required skills and experience:
- 10 years of experience supporting and implementing SAP systems, solutions, and technologies.
- 7 years SAP experience in the Utilities Industry with a focus on the IS-U solution (S/4 HANA Utilities), CIS, FI, meter-to-cash functionality with C4C Service Cloud and other SAP IS-U solutions.
- Full-cycle implementation experience in utilities domain, with hands on technical and deployment experience of CIS & Billing Systems in SAP Utilities
- Experience creating As-IS / To-Be models, BRDs, blueprints, and business process mapping.
- Broad understanding of SAP’s IS-Utilities solution.
- Broad knowledge in various key areas which include Customer Service/Front Office/C4C, Device Management, AMI, Billing, FI-CA, SAP Financials, Cloud for Energy, Cloud for Utilities, etc.
- Exposure to US Regulated and De-Regulated Markets
- Integration experience with edge systems - finance system (GL), GIS, Payment, Bill Print, Credit and collection applications, dispatch portal, meter reading and call center applications
- Experience leading functional and technical teams, working with consultants/SMEs and leading them through the project life cycle and support activities.
- Experience managing and supporting production environments and AMS services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Prior experience managing team members including employees and vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
