Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including metal and wood building erection, concrete forming, masonry, and carpentry. This role involves working on diverse projects such as remodeling, restoration, roofing, siding, and framing. They will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, utilizing hand and power tools, and performing heavy lifting tasks. Candidates should have a solid understanding of construction plans and schematics, along with experience operating heavy equipment when necessary. Duties
· Erect metal and wood buildings and install framing using metal and wood stud framing techniques
· Form concrete structures and perform finishing work with precision
· Install rebar according to blueprints and schematics for reinforced concrete projects
· Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and schematics accurately
· Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
· Perform masonry work including plastering, stucco application, and bricklaying as needed
· Perform siding, trim carpentry, and woodworking tasks with attention to detail
· Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools for proper fitment
· Conduct demolition or restoration work on existing structures when required
· Assist in the installation of insulation or other building components per project specifications
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment by always adhering to safety protocols
Experience
· Proven experience in construction site work with knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, or remodeling projects
· Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is essential
· Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
· Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more) and work in physically demanding conditions
· Prior experience in framing (including woodwork), plastering, or restoration projects is highly desirable
· Knowledge of schematics and construction plans across various trades such as carpentry, roofing, or siding enhances performance
· Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites with a focus on quality workmanship
