ACHS is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology Department. In this role, you’ll work alongside a highly skilled imaging team, performing radiographic procedures independently with professionalism and technical expertise. A minimum of one shift per month is required to maintain PRN status.
What You’ll Do

Perform high-quality radiographic examinations using proper positioning and technique

Set up and utilize radiation protection shielding for patient and staff safety

Process and transmit digital images accurately and efficiently

Operate imaging equipment safely and report equipment issues or needed repairs

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked radiology area

Complete computer-based order entry and documentation

Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures involving contrast media or fluoroscopy

Perform portable X-ray exams as needed

Prepare and instruct patients for radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI, or nuclear medicine exams

Maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental guidelines

Transport inpatients and outpatients to and from the Radiology Department as needed
